LAWRENCE, Kan. - Authorities are warning students to be cautious during collegiate fall breaks because of a serial rapist suspected in five attacks in Lawrence and eight in Manhattan.
Fall break starts Oct. 5 at Kansas State University and Oct. 15 at the University of Kansas.
Kansas Attorney General Steve Six has said several of the attacks occurred during breaks from school, such as fall or spring break.
Law enforcement officials believe the man is a white, slender male of medium height. They say he usually is armed and wears something over his face.
Six along with authorities in Manhattan and Lawrence are urging residents to be vigilant and report any unusual activity.
