Reward in Hasanni Campbell case increased to $60,000

OAKLAND — The reward for information leading to the conviction of the person or people who abducted Hasanni Campbell, the disabled Fremont boy who was reported missing nearly a month ago, has jumped to $60,000, authorities said Thursday.

The Oakland Police Department's Crime Stoppers program received $50,000 in contributions from the Alameda County supervisors and the county of San Francisco...

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom authorized a $25,000 reward for information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the abduction of Hasanni, who has cerebral palsy and wears braces on his feet.

"We hope this award will lead to information on the whereabouts of Hasanni Campbell," Newsom said in a statement. "If you have any leads, please contact the Oakland Police Department."
Ross, 38, and Campbell, 30, were arrested last week and held for several days in jail while the Alameda County District Attorney's Office reviewed the case. Prosecutors did not file criminal charges against them, and both were released this week...

A search of Lake Elizabeth in Fremont, 40000 Paseo Padre Parkway is planned for 9 a.m. Saturday, September 5. Volunteers and donations of food and beverages to feed those volunteers are still needed. People interested in volunteering should meet at 9 a.m. at the main entrance. Anyone with food to donate should call Sherri Miller at 510-276-9090.

This is the second tragic crime involving a child under the control of San Francisco Department of Social Serivces Family and Children Serivces (Child Protective Services Department). Who is at the helm?

Louis Ross is a con artist turned murderer. The body of that poor disabled boy is probably in the water and Ross is cruel enough to have abandoned him or killed him. He made several false statements to the police, committed perjury and is guilty of obstruction of justice. In less than 9 months, he managed to turn into a sadistic child murderer. The body won't be found for a long time like in the Scott Peterson case and the Oakland D>A's office is weak and not as competent as the NY one
