Cheyenne Wolf’s remains — and other pieces of evidence in the case — may be examined by the state medical examiner today.
The girl’s body was exhumed from beneath the porch of her Bokchito, Oklahoma home and moved from state to state, prosecutors said. Abel and Denise Wolf, Cheyenne’s father and stepmother, are jailed in Bryan County where they are charged with unlawful removal of a body.
"The body and evidence are still sealed,” said Cherokee Ballard, spokeswoman for the state medical examiner’s office.

The evidence, gathered by an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agent, arrived Wednesday at the medical examiner’s Oklahoma City office. Cheyenne’s body came back Tuesday from Oregon, where it has been since investigators discovered it on July 4.
A preliminary hearing for the Wolfs is scheduled Nov. 18.
