So, I spent four days trying to give CPR to a dying laptop. It lived long enough to vomit out all my files which is about all you can ask anymore. The old Commadore I use as a hub runs XP, now with a 2004 Belkin wireless adapter and a new shiny spiffy laptop with Windows 7 installed.
The next three days were spent trying to make all of that work. I missed this more than you all know. I'm afraid I've crossed the line to computer addiction. But I'd fight intervention. Dr. Drew, stay away. Just glad to be back with somewhat limp hardware and semi-gelled software. Thanks for the comments.
