Drew Peterson was told by a judge he could have his cars back by 9 a.m. Tuesday. Peterson showed up at five minutes after the hour.
"Just picking up the car, you know," Peterson said after he and a companion showed up at District 5 State Police headquarters to reclaim his GMC Yukon Denali and Pontiac Grand Prix.

He greeted a State Police special agent and attempted to shake his hand, but the agent snubbed him. "That's what I expected," said Peterson, a retired Bolingbrook cop who abruptly quit after 29 years on the force when he came under scrutiny for his wife Stacy's disappearance. "No hug, no kiss."

State Police seized Peterson's vehicles on Nov. 1 as evidence. Stacy Peterson has been missing since Oct. 28. State Police have called her disappearance a "potential homicide" and named Drew Peterson a suspect.

Peterson's attorney, Joel Brodsky, won the return of the vehicles, as well as computers and 11 firearms that also had been confiscated and held as evidence, but State's Attorney James Glasgow blocked Peterson from getting his guns back by persuading State Police to revoke his firearm owner's identification card. Peterson is appealing the revocation.

On Monday, Peterson said he was annoyed with the "Where is Stacy Peterson???" fliers posted in the windows of his next-door neighbor, Sharon Bychowski. He said the fliers cause his children to ask uncomfortable questions like, "Why is that picture there?"

"I tell them, 'The pictures are up because they miss her,' " Peterson said. "I don't tell them they put them up to harass me." Bychowski said harassment has nothing to do with it. "Why is he worried about people looking for Stacy?" she said. "It should be in his best interest to look for Stacy."

Peterson's companion drove off in the Grand Prix. Peterson opened the back of the Yukon and checked the interior before getting in. "I'm sure they wired it for sound," he said. "The big problem I have, I don't think they gassed it and washed it."

Bringing this to your attention, please read the message exchanges below from the "Find Stacy Peterson" forum, (March 27, 2008). This is the kind of treatment received when anyone asks these kinds of questions, they are then banned from that forum by admin. Hundreds have been banned for asking questions, now the public can see why so many are upset! As you can see in the following messages, there is a great leap taken from someone asking a sincere question in a respectful way, to that person being "evil" and trying to cause trouble. Those asking questions are just regular folks, not evil and are not trying to cause trouble. These are folks, including me, who have donated in good faith to the cause of finding Stacy Peterson, who have been ripped apart and obviously from the messages below, continue to be ripped apart!
We've contacted that email address, many times, it goes to admin (who does the banning), it does NOT go to Stacy's family! We've managed to contact members in Stacy's actual family, who have NO comment on how that forum is being run, NO comment on the financial aspects of their site, yet have the audacity to call a press conference to plead for even more money and more help on their so-called searches! When was the last time they even held an organized search? Not lately, because they are MUCH too disorganized!
Anyone who asks questions are lied to by that forum as well, before being banned. When one donates, they do NOT get the #, and this Julie in CA is one of those leading the donate donate donate campaign, she should know that!
Stacy still, even after 5 months, is NOT listed on the national missing person's website. Why is that? We have to ask ourselves, is Stacy even missing?
The media really needs to jump on this. We are doing everything we can to bring this to the attention of as many people as possible.

While I agree that the FSP site is managed under some eyebrow raising tactics, I do not believe for one minute that the fund is in anyway not managed appropriately. Those who are the immediate friends and family of Stacy Peterson have exhausted all avenues and from what I have observed very orderly and organized. So I do disagree with the statement of unorganized.
The eybrow raising tactics of the Find Stacy Peterson site is due to the fact that the ADM, Anthony, and Julie In CA have a rather unusual bond. Julie In Ca likes to, rather thrives on, lying and spreading rumors about fellow members and the Administrator of the forum, and Anthony believes her.
Many have already figured out that Julie In CA is a psycho-drama-queen on wheels.
If the Adm is foolish enough to go by Julie In Ca's whining and crying without looking and verifying himself of her "tall tales" then I find the motives of the both of them questionable.
There are many who have been banned from the Find Stacy Peterson site. I've watched very good hearted and wonderful people get banned. Makes me real suspect in what the TRUE intentions of Julie In Ca is? Obviously it is not for the care and search for Stacy Peterson and to support her family.
It sure looks more and more to me that her posts are merely means for the self gratification of herself. Julie In CA has caused many members to be maliciously slandered by her blatant lies and feels the need to have personal phone numbers of nearly most of the "higher posters" and has actually created "fears" of those who post there of being banned if they speak out against Julie In Ca. I for one post very infrequently as I don't like the flavor of what Julie in CA stirs up.
I find that totally contradictory to the purpose of the site and the wonderful things that many have done for their efforts to help Cassandra Cales find her sister.
Some day they will see the real Julie In Ca and just may realize she could possibly be working for the "other side". Now that would not surprise me one bit.
Julie in Ca is a liar and a fraud and I have to wonder what her real intentions are in the search for Stacy and within the Cales family.
she has claimed to numerous people that after the March 2nd fund raiser she found a box on her porch that looked just like the hinged cable box Mims talked about, she told those people she feared for her life that she was being threatened by DP himself
rumor has it she has told people she once dated OJ Simpson! She's nuts and cannot be trusted
all posts about Julie in Ca are my opinion and my opinion is she's certifiable and should stay as far away from this case
